Disciplines
These are the shooting disciplines we are currently running
International Handgun Metallic Silhouette (IHMSA)
Rimfire (.22lr) and Centrefire handguns shot using the Field Pistol sub discipline rules. Ranges for both are 25,50,75 and 100m
Rifle Metallic Silhouette (RMS)
Currently rimfire (.22lr) only.
Club competition only as we are running a variation of national rules. Rifles may be any action with or without scopes. Shot using a benchrest at ranges of 40,60,77 and 100m
Lever Action Silhouette (LAS)
Smallbore (.22lr), Pistol Cartridge and Rifle Cartridge. Rifles must use a rimmed cartridge, be tube fed and use open sights or peep sights.
Animal steel silhouettes shot at 40,50,75 and 100m for smallbore and pistol cartridge and 50, 100, 150 and 200m for rifle cartridge.
Field Rifle
Rimfire (.22lr) and Centerfire.
Shot at paper targets in 4 sets of rapid fire free standing, slow fire free standing, standing post support and sitting post support.
Ranges are 25 and 50m for Rimfire, 25,50,100 and 200m for Centerfire
Muzzleloading
Ye olde target shooting on paper targets using muzzle loading rifles and pistols.
Practical Pistol (IPSC)
An action packed shoot using either Minor or Major power factor handguns shot at varying ranges from 5m to 50m depending on stage. Both paper and steel targets may be used.
